Izea Ranks

Hello fellow bloggers, are you looking for a blog ranking system? Then check out the Blog Ranks of izearanks.com.

All you have to do is sign up with izearanks, get a code that you embed in your xml/html template, save your template, and voila it will soon be up and running.

Izea will track your page views and visitors and come up with your blog's RealRank. Let's use From the Boondocks as an example to see how it works :-)

According to the above statistics, this blog's weekly average RealRank is 975 while it's RealRank today is 883. Basically, what this means is that of all the blogs registered with Izea, From the Boondocks lands in the 975 spot during the week. It's far from the Top 100 but we were in the 300-400 rank when we haven't shifted our focus to our other blog, kaigorotan.com.

Anyways, Izea also monitors the rankings of blogs in the different categories. I registered this blog as a "Political" blog and according to the Izea ranking, we managed to land in the Top Ten in the Top 100 political blogs. On average, we rank anywhere from 8 to 15 in this category.

Now, an interesting thing about this ranking system is that you can compare the RealRank of your blogs with other blogs in the network. Kind of cool if you'd like to see how your friends (and enemies hehe) are doing. If you are worried about revealing too much information, you have the option to hide your statistics (page views and unique visitors) -- but not your RealRank -- from the public.
